No Coffee Today

If I bark at you today it’s not that I don’t like you. It’s because due to some heart flutters, I’m off caffeine for a moment. (As I write this, I’m going on 48 hours.)

Per my wife’s suggestion, I’m heading to the doctor today to see if they have any concerns. My guess is this experiment will be similar to bringing your car to the mechanic: once you get there the symptoms can’t be demonstrated.

I get PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) and they used to freak me out. I thought I was going to die. So, I went to a cardiologist and he made me walk around with this monitor that recorded my heart. Turns out they were harmless. Something like 25% of the population gets PVCs, but most people can't feel them.

That is my diagnosis for you too. I don't think you even need a doctor now...

Glad I'm not the only one who thought they were dieing. Funny thing is, since I've been to the doctor, I haven't had them.

My doctor thinks they are PVCs too. If I have them again, I have a referral to get the same thing you wore. But he said to not do that unless I start getting them again.
