Bring your own tissues

Apparently the 30 billion dollar company I work for no longer supplies employees with tissues for their desk. From what I remember, my former group (in the same company) had a full cabinet full for employees.

After catching what I would refer to as a nasty cold, I checked with our, at times, cantankerous administrative assistant to see if I could get a box of Kleenexes. Just a small box would do. Her response to me was a very gruff, "you have to buy them yourself." Not looking to disturb her anymore (which by the looks of it may have pushed her over some edge), I said "ok, thanks" and waddled away disgruntled.

I promises you this; if I ever own my own company, I'll supply employees with free tissues.
