Back and Neck

For the past five years I've been dealing with an upper back and neck problem. It's a really odd one. Some days I'll have no pain and then the next day I'll wake up and have a strained neck and back that lasts for 2-3 weeks.

I've tried three different chiropractors and had some limited success with all of them. What I can't seem to find is a solution. After getting a $30-45 adjustment, I'm good for 2-3 weeks and then find myself back.

So, I've decided to see a medical doctor. A neck and back specialist they tell me. I'm hopeful they can track down the issue, or at least give me some guidance on how to strengthen my back and neck to hopefully avoid more issues.

This might sound strange but I had a similar issues and the only solution I found was stretching. Not casual stretching but intense Yoga like stretching that almost "hurts". Focus on large leg muscles (quads, hamstrings) and the abdominal region.

I know it is ridiculous but I went to physical therapy, chiropractors specialists everything, it was the only thing help.

Yah, the place I'm going to has given me all sorts of stretches. My neck feels like a noddle.

Was your pain in your lower or upper back? Mine's upper, which I've found to be rare.
