NCAA 2009 Day 4: 7-1

7 - 1 today. The only team that let me down was Dayton. They were outplayed (specifically out-shot) by a tough Kansas team.

Going into this coming Thursday I have 14 of 16 teams left. None of my teams in the final eight have been eliminated.

I was starting to feel pretty good about myself, until I noticed that two brackets have the 1, 2, 3, 4 seeds left, and the other two have 1, 2, 3. Meaning, there haven't been many major upsets. And since I tend to favor favorites, I'm leading this year.

Given that we're seeing an anomaly with the top seeds still around, I'll probably never be this successful again. So I'm going to enjoy it.
