Southwest is finally coming!

Those of you who have flown from airports outside of MSP have probably seen a number of friendly smiles near any Southwest Airline gate. That's because not only do they treat you well, the flights are usually well priced.

Finally Southwest Airlines (a.k.a the bus in the sky) is coming to Minneapolis / St. Paul. For those of us who are looking for a cheap way to fly, and don't mind having a stop here and there, this is welcoming news.

I once flew from Chicago to New Orleans. We stopped in Birmingham and then Houston. At each stop, a few people got off, a few people got on. Just like a bus stop. Though it took me a little bit longer than a direct flight, I paid about $100 and didn't have to change flights. It worked perfect. I'm so glad they are finally here!

Do they still make you line up in stalls like cattle?

Do they still make you line up in stalls like cattle? - Yes. And even better, you get a colored sign or numbered sign indicating when you can board.
