We didn't go to the casino last night as my wife was sick. That means I broke even for the evening, which is rewarding.
I usually just play cards and so if we would have went I'm guessing my losses would have been around fifty dollars. That includes a few bucks for a couple of beers.
My wife plays the machines. I was interested to see how those machines payout so I did a bit of research. According to Wikipedia, typical slot machine payouts in the 82 - 98% range. I'd like to find that casino that pays out 98% and bring my wife there. I swear the ones she goes to pay out 0%.
Like I said before, I don't play the machines. However, on my 18th birthday I did slide a few quarters into a Lucky Seven machine and won around seventy-five dollars. To celebrate, my buddy and I went to Burger King. That's the last time I won.

Decrease your scope to increase the chances of winning. There are a number of poker games hosted by coworkers, which puts you in a pool of 8-16 others. If you get good enough, you may be able to eak out a lunch a week in profit.
