Review: Magic Hat

While on my stay-cation, I picked up a bottle of Magic Hat. Though the bottle says "not quite Pale Ale," it's definitely a Pale Ale. A little fruity for my taste, but a respectable brew.

I think the folks behind Magic Hat (Magic Hat Brewing Company, South Burlington Vermont) might have been at Woodstock. On their label they state "The ancient ritual of brewing a distinctly rich and flavorful beer is a performance to behold. Our mysterious melange of time-honored ingredients harmonize with chaotic chemistry, humble patience, and blind faith to create unique beers to share in the rousing company of kindred spirits." Pick up a bottle sometime and read the label.
