Twitter

I'm not sure why, but I'm now Twittering. Being my dad was Tweeting I figured it was best to get with it. You can following me via mcdonaldnoland.

I'm skeptical of Twitter because I don't understand it yet. Why do I care what other people are doing? Why do others care what I'm doing? When do I update my Facebook status? When do I Tweet? When do I talk to someone in person?

Article by a friend from HS who works for MS now.

Adam - isn't linking Facebook, blogging, twitter called Socialcasting or Widecasting or something? I know Plaxo is designed to pull everything together so you can track your friends in one location no matter how much social networking they're doing.

I'll have to check that App out and see if I can figure out how to use it.

Is Plaxo like a Big Brother for social networking? Something you can use to monitor every social networking activity. Do you think social networking was started by the government so they could gain better access to our ever-private lives?

Mac, this is Jerds. The best line regarding Twitter was from Stephen Colbert a few weeks back. The interviewer, I think on CNN, asked him: "Do you Twitter?" He said: "Yes I have Twatted!" Sent the whole room into shock and panic. Hilarious!
