No more free pop

How the mighty have fallen. It was brought to my attention last week that the free pop is gone. Budget cuts I guess.

If you're not familiar with what I'm talking about, let me explain. The new project I'm working on promoted the idea of "new." New cubes, new computers and two new pop fridges for free pop. The idea was to try and break us of old habits and think new.

Apparently, a honeymoon can last only so long. And so the idea of "new" has ended. There will be no more free pop for the team members. With the exception of a few who have brought in their own supply, the large fridges sit empty, sucking up valuable power. Since a number of us were asked to be on the project, can we consider the change a bait and switch tactic?

Though it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm not concerned about it. I don't need to drink pop every day.

That's interesting because they just started giving us free pop.

does this mean you no longer have to "think new"?

What? How can you guys get free pop? You're being outsourced ;)

Erik, yes. In fact, I asked for my old computer back so I could get back to working slower.
